Kohn School Office Building

Our Story

Frank Kohn Elementary School serves transitional kindergarten through sixth-grade students in the central San Joaquin Valley in Tulare, California. Our strong academic focus, characterized by a hands-on philosophy of teaching, inspires the curiosity, creativity, enthusiasm, and self-motivation of each of our students. Our goal is for every Kohn Cobra to reach their potential and become positive, responsible, and productive citizens in our society.

We work hard to ensure each student has equal access to highly-qualified, caring teachers who provide an integrated, core instructional program that emphasizes basic skill mastery in language arts, math, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Our safe and supportive learning environment feels like an extension of the home and encourages the support of parents and the community to meet the needs of the whole child—intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.
